  am extremely disappointed by the treatment my son and I received at this UPS location today. I came in for a simple return with my 3-year-old son. He started crying, as toddlers sometimes do, and I was doing everything I could to comfort him so we could finish our transaction and leave. Instead of showing even a little patience or kindness, the older gentleman working behind the counter told my son to stop crying because he had a headache. He then told my 3-year-old to “shut up.” As if that wasn’t inappropriate enough, he looked at me and said that I needed to “raise my kid better.” No employee should ever speak to a customer—or a little child—that way. My son is only three years old. Toddlers cry, and parents do their best to handle those situations. His comments were rude, disrespectful, judgmental, and completely unprofessional. Unfortunately, this wasn’t an isolated incident. Every time I’ve visited this location, this same employee has been unfriendly and disrespectful. Today’s experience crossed the line. I hope management takes this complaint seriously. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, and no parent should be shamed or have their child spoken to in such a cruel manner while simply trying to complete a return.
