  I have window shopped a couple of times but have never made any purchase at any of the Max Mara stores within SCP. As my mom and I entered the store today, I was greeted by a tall salesperson named ?Tata (she might have been a lead/manager). It was an awkward encounter, as in she was asking for our names (even got our names wrong afterwards) and then suggested that we were regular clients which was not true. She then brought another salesperson (forgot her name, but it was an Asian/Filipino-descent), and asked her to help us. I felt like they were working like "partners in crime" and forced us to try on clothes while we just wanted to casually browse the shop. They were suggesting outfits, as in they were desperate to make sales transactions. We were put in extremely uncomfortable situation, so we wanted to exit the shop immediately. As we were trying to exit, the two ladies continued to harass us and suggested more outfits. I have to say that I have never had such a shopping experience before. I have shopped at higher-end designer stores (Chanel, LV, and Prada), and I have only had comfortable shopping experience inside their stores and had professional interactions with their salespeople. We felt like we were being attacked by a couple of "pitbulls" or "gang members" in an alley. Honestly, we would have stayed longer to browse their shop and potentially made purchases, but we wanted to run in the other direction because these ladies were literally harassing us to the point where we did not feel comfortable shopping there. We will make certain that we will run past this store as quickly as we can whenever we pass by this store inside SCP.

  “Max Mara is a luxury brand, but the customer service I experienced was far below that standard.” 👉 “It’s shocking that a customer would be spoken to this way. The staff appeared overly focused on making a sale and made a very inappropriate comment like, ‘You don’t have money, right?’” Head office told me that the store manager at this branch would handle it and asked me to contact them The manager isn’t calling me back, and when I call again, the staff there answer but when it gets hard for them to respond, they say they can’t hear me and hang up. Then when I call again, they keep avoiding my calls.

  Many thanks to Anita Huang. She was very professional and has great taste. The wool coat she recommended was perfect, and my girlfriend absolutely loves it. 😊

  I had incredibly uncomfortable experience at this store and will never come here again. My wife and I planned to simply browse. We were greeted at a door and offered a handshake, which I thought was odd and unnecessary. After shaking hands, the salesperson held on to my hand for over 60 seconds until I forcibly withdrew my hand. She then asked me my race and said “AHA, I KNEW IT!” after hearing my response. I said that we really not wanted to look at the clothes and not be bothered. She then said I HAD to spend money because I walked in the store. Flabbergasted and disgusted by this experience, my wife and I did a quick lap and promptly left the store, for good.
