This DHL branch is in my neighbourhood, thus quite convenient. What's even better is that the clerk is extremely helpful.
Great experience. My new go to for international secure mailing.
Andrea was great had me in and out in no time highly recommend this place.

Update to my review: While the man at the local DHL Chula Vista was very nice, I will never use DHL again. They really should train their employees better. When I dropped off my son's retainer to be shipped to his hotel in Europe, the man asked the value of it. I told him it's a used retainer, so not much, but I wanted it insured for $800 because that's the cost to replace it. He put down a $800 value, which subjected me to huge import fees from the Czech Republic that no one warned me about. I started receiving emails from DHL Czechia saying I needed to fill out commercial-type paperwork for customs clearance. I called DHL U.S., and they said I could ignore those emails. It turns out you cannot ignore those emails; they will hold your item until you complete the forms and pay the fees based on the value DHL puts down. DHL Czechia helped me get the value corrected so I only had to pay a $2 fee, but all of this delayed the package so much that it was delivered after my son left the country. I paid $150 to have it shipped quickly, the man at the DHL in Chula Vista put a high value on it - not insurance as I asked - and now I just have to buy my son a new retainer because it was delayed too long and it's sitting at a hotel in a country he has already left. I also talked to DHL U.S. last week, and they said they were going to stop the delivery for me and call me about returning it. They did not. It was delivered today, so no help there either. This whole thing was such a mess, and I wasted hundreds of dollars (including $87 in international phone call fees trying to fix all of this) only to have to buy a new retainer due to failures at every step. I'm very disappointed. I will not go back to DHL again.
Superb service. I was doubtful at first sending my package out of the country. I have heard of other carriers that had lost packages before.
Took a chance and your company was trustworthy. My package was delivered exactly as promised.
Will be using your service again.

Worst experience ever. Use caution with this office. They guaranteed on 5/6 a package would arrive from San Diego to Sacramento by Mother’s Day. Package arrived the day after and I got an email praising themselves that they provided services paid for. Employers I spoke to at the office took no accountability and gave me a generic phone number that was no help. I was then directed to the billing department and they said they don’t issue refunds. The retail sales manager AT THE OFFICE offered to refund HALF of my money via Venmo or Zelle when I paid with my card. When I asked for a full refund she said the package was still delivered and there is no REAL guarantee. I had to insist on a full refund and she referred this to the billing department and there is no guarantee that it will be “approved”. I asked this be escalated to management and have gotten no response. This office took $57.38. Just use your local post office.
