Extremely Disappointed – Unauthorized Charges and Lack of Communication
I am very disappointed with my experience working with Trish Le at Allstate. I initially allowed my mother to use my credit card to open an account with her, with the understanding it would be a one-time, authorized transaction. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
In March, I noticed an unauthorized charge and was present when my mother contacted Trish directly to ensure my card would no longer be used. Despite this, I was charged again in April. I followed up through Allstate’s online portal and chat support, also requesting that my account be closed and asking for clarification. I was told by support that they couldn’t see the charges and advised me to contact my bank.
I sent multiple follow-up emails to Trish, again requesting that my card no longer be used, but received no response. A third unauthorized charge appeared in May. At that point, I had to contact my bank to block further charges, as replacing my card was ineffective.
What’s most frustrating is the complete lack of communication from Trish throughout this process. I was patient and gave ample opportunity for resolution. Unfortunately, that patience was not reciprocated with action or even acknowledgment.
In contrast, my previous experiences with other insurance agents—particularly at State Farm—were positive, with responsive and proactive service. Sadly, that has not been the case here.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Trish Le as an insurance agent. I hope others have a better experience, but I strongly encourage potential clients to work with someone who demonstrates better communication and professionalism.
