  I do not recommend the Max Mara Beverly Hills boutique based on my experience with its store manager. I purchased a Max Mara coat at a Max Mara boutique in Italy just last year. After discovering it had been damaged by moths, I mentioned it while visiting the Max Mara boutique in Hawaii. My sales associate there suggested that I bring the coat into my local boutique to see if they could offer assistance or discuss any options that might be available given how recently it had been purchased. Unfortunately, my experience at the Beverly Hills boutique was very disappointing. The store manager (a woman in her mid-30s with shoulder-length blonde hair; unfortunately, I didn't get her name) immediately told me there was nothing she could do. She said that because we live in California, coats need to be stored with mothballs, then abruptly walked away to the back of the store. I visited the boutique simply to find out whether there were any options available, given that the coat was only about a year old and another Max Mara associate had encouraged me to ask. I wasn't expecting any particular outcome, but I did expect to be treated with courtesy and professionalism. What disappointed me most wasn't the answer—it was the dismissive way the interaction was handled. A luxury brand should take the time to explain its policies, show empathy, and, if possible, offer guidance or suggestions. Instead, I felt brushed off. Based on this experience, I am hesitant to shop at Max Mara again.

  Max Mara is one of those stores where quality and customer service immediately stand out. The boutique has a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere, making it enjoyable to take your time exploring the collections. The staff was friendly, attentive, and offered thoughtful styling advice without ever being pushy. Every piece reflects exceptional craftsmanship, with beautiful fabrics and timeless designs that feel like long-term investments rather than seasonal purchases. It was a wonderful shopping experience from start to finish, and I look forward to visiting again.

  Javier is a fabulous representative of the brand. He was lots of fun to shop with, provided us kind and laid-back service, with a generous dose of humour. Great experience, highly recommend him as your go-to stylist.
