- AIAnaesy IniguezSep 10, 20261.0Ildefonso Kotico, the owner refused to accept accountability for the mistakes his son made during a LiveScan application. DOJ provided specific instructions on how to proceed, and he refused because he would have to pay for another application. He refused a refund or to start a new application (like the DOJ requested) instead he offered to do ink fingerprints (which is not the service I paid for or required) and when I informed him that would not work, he completely stopped communicating with me. I had to go to a different location and get them re-processed. I was very patient and tried to resolve this issue amicably, but he refused. I was only asking for him to provide the service I paid for and to be done correctly. Very disappointing! If I could I would leave 0 Stars. UPDATE Attached is a picture of the instructions provided by the California Department of Social Services which includes Family Child Care Home and how to input it in their system. Making an honest mistake is not the issue, your lack of responsibility to fix that mistake because you have to pay for a new application is. Your solution to offer a no-fee ink fingerprint rolling is not what the DOJ instructed. DOJ also denied a no-fee scanning because the mistake was made by the operator (your son). If this service is confusing, maybe it should not be offered. Or your son should take the proper steps to be correctly educated on it. Not offering the proper resolution because you have to pay (as you stated on my visit on 8/27/26) is just irresponsible. Hoping you take the time to reflect and approach mistakes or challenging situations differently. Respectfully
