The 2 workers were rude and impatient. The bread was dry and hard. Not a good experience. No wonder Subway is declining.

I was reminded today why I dont usually go to this subway. It's not about the food, but about the staff, their attitude and their ability to make the food. So i asked my husband to pick up lunch, Before he could even order, he could tell that his presence was an inconvenience. I had asked for a protein pocket, which I get frequently at other locations. It normally comes with jalapeños, which i ask for none, never a problem. In fact, other locations will list what's in the protein pocket and make sure im OK with everything. I once asked if I could sub the jalapeños for pickles, i was told they aren't supposed to do that.. no biggie. Today, this girl gave attitude said that they aren't supposed to take things off of the recipe. That was new. Asked for extra tomato (which is in the recipe) and she refused. That hasn't happened at other locations. Im guessing she was annoyed with the requests because when I opened up the package, the whole Tortilla was ripped in half. Had to totally reconstruct it into 2 small wraps. Girl, I get it, food service can really suck sometimes. I know. I worked in it for a very long time. But if you aren't happy, find something else.
I think I'll stick with the Subway at Broadway and Houghton. The employees that have served me there were so beyond friendly and helpful, and they have made great food each time.

They were out of lettuce and spinach so I didn't order anything.

They don't take walk ins anymore -stood in an empty line for 10+ minutes without being acknowledged while staff made online orders. After finally placing my order, they went right back to making more online orders. I left. A total fail in basic service. Go to Dickman's - right down the road, locally owned, Boars Head deli, better prices, and existent customer service.
Location treats online orders as last to do when they get a chance even when your sitting there waiting. They refuse to provide the restroom code to customers, the lobby ice machine had no ice and the cooler had very few drinks in it. Food was supposed to be toaster but was cold and cheese not melted. Avoid this location.
