  These people will steal from you. I went in a week prior to get a phone activated. I was swapping from an android to a hand-me-down iPhone that was in service with them the month prior. They removed the sim card I inserted into the replacement phone, stating the sim card I inserted into the iPhone wasn't correct (the one from the original android). They kept the sim card and suggested I buy a newer phone because the one I tried activating was outdated. I bought a new compatible android phone directly from their website and paid $25 to activate it even though I've been paying for the line already. I go into the store to finally get this phone activated and the woman at the counter (the same woman that I talked to a week ago) denies keeping my sim card and charges $11 for a device swap and new card. If I was returned my original sim card I would not have been charged that fee. Cricket are a bunch or dishonest theives.
