  These people will steal from you. I went in a week prior to get a phone activated. I was swapping from an android to a hand-me-down iPhone that was in service with them the month prior. They removed the sim card I inserted into the replacement phone, stating the sim card I inserted into the iPhone wasn't correct (the one from the original android). They kept the sim card and suggested I buy a newer phone because the one I tried activating was outdated. I bought a new compatible android phone directly from their website and paid $25 to activate it even though I've been paying for the line already. I go into the store to finally get this phone activated and the woman at the counter (the same woman that I talked to a week ago) denies keeping my sim card and charges $11 for a device swap and new card. If I was returned my original sim card I would not have been charged that fee. Cricket are a bunch or dishonest theives.

  Switched to cricket recently; Although they send me emails asking for a review, their email and an included secondary link to review through do not function at all, and their website has no option for feedback but instead only a handful of carefully selected ‘testimonials’ so here is the verbatim review I was explicitly asked by Cricketwireless for: What’s a defbyod and what are you asking me to review here? Cricket was either overpriced or unequipped, making me get a secondary phone number just so that I did not have to keep using my old broken device, without doubling my bill; Making your potential customers choose to carry either unaffordable or inconvenient while with you merely because of the red tape for deals in your advertisements is more telling than most of the minutiae in your companies history. Just a friendly reminder that catering to investors at the expense of customers is unsustainable; I do not know exactly why you are falling apart, but please stop going in (some of) the direction(s) you have been going on.
