Until recently (last four weeks), I had not visited a Subway in almost three years. Not because I didn't want to, but because I was diagnosed with gout and meat was the main culprit (man, I miss steak, roast beef, and especially pastrami).
I have been testing what does and does not work in my diet. Tuna actually works, so does chicken, and pork. As long as it's in reason and I spread the days out with eating meat I'm okay.
Enter this Subway. It works far better then any other chain restuarant.
What works even better is this specific Subway!!! Excellent service and very, very friendly. Place is always busy, especially at lunch.
True story: I recently visited again for breakfast sandwich and watched a manager from another Subway (this location was very shorthanded at the time) flop together a mess of sandwiches for five people in front of me. I actually requested the familiar Subway employee (who had served me a few times before) to make my sandwich. He was excellent.
