We originally had a great experience with this agency when we first signed up. The agent, Bill, who helped us was knowledgeable, responsive, and made the process easy. Unfortunately, after he left the agency, our experience changed significantly.
The lack of customer service and communication has been extremely disappointing. We recently needed assistance with a windshield replacement claim and, after multiple attempts to get help, received no meaningful response. Due to the lack of engagement from Terries agency, we ultimately paid for the replacement out of pocket and still have not heard back.
We also had a water leak claim last year, and the process was equally frustrating. We were repeatedly routed through call center representatives who did not seem to understand our policy or how to properly assist us through AllStates claim process. When we attempted to contact Terrie directly, our calls and emails went unanswered, or we were simply redirected back into another call center queue.
We've reached out multiple times by phone and email and have received little to no response. Insurance is something you hope you never need, but when you do, responsive communication is critical. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience with this agency.
As a result of these ongoing service issues, we have moved our policies elsewhere. It's disappointing because the agency made a great first impression, but the lack of support when we actually needed help ultimately led us to take our business elsewhere.
