We went to the Subway on Maricopa a couple of days ago. We hadn’t been to Subway in years because competing options like Jimmy John’s and Jersey Mike’s are generally superior. But we were in a hurry and figured, what the hell.
I can’t express how awesome this visit was.
Hailey helped us from start to finish, and she provided something rare in Havasu: **service**. This town isn’t always great at that. She was friendly, helpful, and honestly felt more like a friend than someone just making sandwiches. I can’t express this strongly enough: this girl is fantastic.
If you read my other reviews, you’ll see that service is my biggest pet peeve. People can buy food anywhere. What places like this often forget is that what they’re really selling is the experience. Most places fail at that. Hailey shines. She could teach a master class on customer service.
Now, I would go back just for that alone, but it got even better.
The sandwiches she made were a far cry from the sad fare Subway has unfortunately become known for. These were big, fat, and full. I usually get a footlong, but for the first time in memory, I could only eat half.
Whoever owns this store needs to know this: because of Hailey, we **will** be back, and soon. I know this may sound over the top, but she was so unexpectedly friendly, and the sandwiches were so well made, that I can’t help but rave.
Thank you, Hailey. We’ll see you again.
And no, I’m not her dad. :)
