I don't usually do negative reviews. I typically review the good stuff, where I want to call out something excellent or outstanding. But in this case...
What an awful experience. I've had bad experiences at this particular Subway before but this was the worst by far.
I ordered in the app, then ran a couple of errands to give time for them to make my order. Three sandwiches and a protein bowl, chips and cookies. When I got there 15 or 20 minutes later I discovered that they had made 1 sandwich then stopped to serve walk-in customers - which I get, but order ahead express pick up isn't supposed to work that way. So I had to wait while they resumed working on my order. They did not even offer a simple, courteous, "Sorry for your wait."
And the order. Two sandwiches, they got right. Turkey and mustard on artisan bread, almost too easy to mess up. However, my mom's sandwich was missing OVER HALF of the veggies I ordered, as well as the vinaigrette dressing.
My protein bowl, for which I paid EIGHTEEN DOLLARS, was only 2/3 full, the meat was not sliced and was plainly NOT the +50% I ordered. Additionally, there was no salt, pepper, or dressing (also ordered), and - possibly most disappointing - no avocado. Which I actually paid EXTRA for!
Finally, had I not been standing there and asked, they would not have put the chips and cookies I paid for in the bag.
I'm not sure if this Subway's manager is absentee or just doesn't care. They have been fairly consistently sub-par, but I've kept going back because of the convenience of the location. But this one did it for me. I will never - never - be returning to this store.
