On April 26, 2026, around 8:30 PM, I stopped by this Subway location. I ordered a bowl containing four scoops of tuna, lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, jalapeños, avocado, two fried eggs, olive oil, and Sweet Onion sauce. They put very little food in the bowl —it was filled only halfway. However, after that, they tried to charge me $28. I work as a truck driver and travel all across the country; at every Subway I visit, I order the exact same thing. For this meal, I am typically charged anywhere from $11 to $18. After I pointed out that $28 was an
exorbitant price, the employee called someone, and they lowered the cost to $18. Then, it turned out that their payment terminal wasn't working, and I didn't have any cash on me. In short, they wouldn't give me the food for free; instead, they suggested I go get some cash. I simply walked out and had dinner at Waffle House instead.
