Hunger hit me subway was convenient @ 8 pm. I had actually stopped at Wendy’s across the street, but after watching a female employee at the busy counter, picking inside her ear with her finger I decided to go to Subway, again I was unpleasantly surprised.
It was an hour before closing. The woman was very short when I was asking about the $6.99 deal for a 12 inch sandwich. Seems like you need to order online or have a coupon presentable. So I proceeded to tell her what kind of bread / sandwich and when I questioned her about was on the bread she seemed irritated and disgusted. After telling her my of meat/ cheese on my sandwich, a mother and teen walked in, and she proceeded to ask them their order. After my so-called steak sandwich was heated, she did the same for the second order. Asking what kind of vegetables I looked down in many of the normal vegetables were missing from their slot, and she haphazardly grabbed what I asked for and put it on the sandwich along with the type of dressing, which was a bit overloaded. I watched then as the teen proceeded to tell the woman what type of vegetables that she wished on her sandwich, the server was very short with her request as if she was too hurried to bother. Waiting through this was OK, but I watched as the young teen was questioned ( more like interrogated by the tone of her voice ) what kind of dressing she wanted and she repeated mustard, to my dismay, this woman squirted at least half of a cup of mustard on the poor girls sandwich and continue to wrap it up.
This person does not deserve to be in Customer Service, and why for goodness sakes would you advertise your closing time and be doing it an hour early? To top it off, she asked me for a tip at the end. Can you guess if I did or not?
$13 for a subway sandwich terrible and Wendy’s I wouldn’t eat there if they paid me. What’s happened to these so-called food establishments lately? I prefer to go someplace where I feel as though the food is fresh and people appreciate my business.
