  My husband and I went to the Cricket store on 5/26/26, to try to get his phone upgraded. The younger guy working did not seem very interested in assisting us. I told him I had been looking at options online and we wanted to get a free or inexpensive phone. He basically told us that doesn't really exist anymore and we're looking at at least $200 for a new phone. He did say that the Samsung A16 was our cheapest option, then proceeded to bash the phone, saying it was basically trash. The only concern I've had with that model in the past was a lack of storage space. His suggestion to us was to go to Walmart and purchase a phone, then come back to the store to activate it. We chose not to do that, but ordered him a phone through the Cricket website. Even with taxes, the mandatory $25 upgrade fee, and purchasing a case off of Amazon, we spent less than $125 for a moto G 2026 with plenty of storage space. I was so disappointed in the lack of customer service we received today, as my initial visit to this location had me recommending them to others. I will no longer recommend this location. I hope whatever he was planning to do instead of make a sale was worth it.

  My husband and I have been customers of Cricket Wireless for years. We recently reached out to the Rainsville store and Hunter Davis was very helpful in fixing the settings on one of our phones. He was very polite when directing us on what to do. We've learned that he RESIGNED and this is very disappointing. Good customer service is hard to find these days. The manager, Kelly, has told employess there that he was fired. This is very unprofessional. We will do future business in Huntsville.

  Always a great experience dealing with the folks at Cricket they are willing to always take that extraile to satisfy the customer and to always make sure that the customer leaves happy

  I like the phone service. No contract. Great price. But, if you have any problems with your phone, forget this place and go ask a teenager for help.
