This review is specifically about the ownership of the Subway locations in Monroeville.
Over the past 4–5 months, both locations have consistently refused to accept Subway coupons, even when they are valid. I understand stores can be independently owned, but refusing corporate promotions across multiple visits feels misleading and frustrating as a customer of Subway.
More concerning is the way the owners treat customers. On more than one occasion, they have come across as rude and dismissive, which makes the experience uncomfortable. The employees themselves are generally polite, but the attitude from ownership reflects poorly on the entire location.
On top of that, the quality of the food has declined. The ingredients don’t seem as fresh, and the overall experience just isn’t what it used to be.
This has been a consistent issue over several months, not just a one-time visit. I hope something is done to improve both customer service and overall standards at these locations.
