  I stopped by to get my husband and myself are sub for dinner. I got a chicken bacon ranch and spicy Italian. The young guy put the bacon in the oven and got it out but didn't put it on the sandwich. I was trying to read what all my husband wanted on there so I didn't really pay attention if he put it on there or not. It was very hot in there also so the vegetables didn't look that great. I used to love going by there but stopped for a while because the people that own or run it are extremely rude, short to talk to, and act like you are a bother. I hadn't been in a little while and thought I'd try it again. But this will definitely be my last time going to this one in Heflin. I will drive a little farther and go to Oxford. I had to throw my sandwich out, it tasted terrible!!!

  I stopped in for lunch and the young man working was rude. Terrible customer service. The restaurant was hotter inside than it was outside and that's saying something being June in AL. This used to be a regular stop for me as it has convenient truck parking, however today will be my last visit.

  While attempting to use my Subway gift card was told “no money” on the gift card. However that gift card had never been used and was presumed to have $15 on it. So reluctantly my Fiance used her debit card to pay for the meal. While using her card she had to swipe it multiple times as there was some error the first time. After returning home we noticed a suspicious transaction on our bank account from a service we don’t use or have ever purchased labeled “Amazon Kindle” based out of Seattle Washington. We later verified the gift card did have $15 on it, meaning the subway employee was incorrect in telling us that it had no money. The event occurred in the Afternoon on the day of 29 May 2026.
