I stopped in for lunch and the young man working was rude. Terrible customer service. The restaurant was hotter inside than it was outside and that's saying something being June in AL. This used to be a regular stop for me as it has convenient truck parking, however today will be my last visit.

While attempting to use my Subway gift card was told “no money” on the gift card. However that gift card had never been used and was presumed to have $15 on it. So reluctantly my Fiance used her debit card to pay for the meal. While using her card she had to swipe it multiple times as there was some error the first time. After returning home we noticed a suspicious transaction on our bank account from a service we don’t use or have ever purchased labeled “Amazon Kindle” based out of Seattle Washington. We later verified the gift card did have $15 on it, meaning the subway employee was incorrect in telling us that it had no money. The event occurred in the Afternoon on the day of 29 May 2026.
I ordered a pizza online. I got there to pick it up and as soon as I walked in, the owner started yelling at me. Yelling that he was out of pizza and I would just have to come back next month. I sent my fiancé in because I wanted my money back and he refused to refund my order. Told my fiancé the same thing about coming back next month. So yeah, they stole nearly $8 from me. I won’t be back. $8 isn’t a lot but it’s really just the principle of it. I paid for a product I did not receive and was basically told tough luck. Thieves. Don’t eat here.

The middle eastern man behind the counter yelled at me for having 2 separate orders for 2 different people (1 for me and 1 for my 21 yr old autistic son who was waiting in the car), 2 different forms of payment, and 2 different coupons. After telling me I couldn't use the coupon, I told him to throw the second sandwich away because I couldn't get the sandwich without the coupon. He tried to get me to use a different coupon but the orders had to be paid separately (my son, who was in the car, is on disability and keeps track of his purchases separately from mine). After I began to pay for the first order, with no comments from me after saying the orders have to be paid separately, he continued to yell at me saying one per customer and only this time. I did tell him he didn't have to yell at me. That I was in there the day before (2/6/2026) and him and his wife were so nice but today he was being a dick and I wouldn't be back; that I was calling corporate and contacting the owners.
I worked in the fast food industry for 23 years - as a team member, as a cook, as shift lead, and as a general manager - there is absolutely no reason for anyone to be yelled at.
And as I said before, I won't be back....I'll take my business to Bowden Subway.

The owner didn't want to give me my free sub with my rewards so I ordered it online and he got pissed and told me not to come by. That's a great way to represent Subway. I have told everyone that works for me never to come back to this Subway. Around 30 people eat here 3 times a week. Poor business but what do you expect.
