  Definitely one of the nicer Best Westerns we've enjoyed. Close to highway but without the noise. Staff was very friendly, rooms were nice and large, exceptionally clean as was the rest of the hotel. Breakfast area was well attended and food variety was nice. Location was good, quiet and had several eating establishment close some within walking distance. We brought our dog and there was a very large grass area next door where she got to run and play ball. Also, a shopping plaza was a block away with Sam's club across the road. I upgrade them to more than 5 stars.

  This is my favorite place to stay when I’m in Birmingham. This is my home away from home! The staff are extremely welcoming and nice. The breakfast is really good and the hotel itself is close to everything! I would highly recommend this hotel!

  I'm not associated with the place and stay at Best Western when I can. Room was great and there was a nice hot breakfast in the morning. I'd stay here again if ever in the area again.

  Room a complete disaster nasty! Receptionist even after me showing photos showing how unclean the room was he said I assure you the room was cleaned I said it’s July a Christmas candy cane by the toliet hair every where. No apologies no would you like to switch rooms or anything. If you want a clean environment that also doesn’t smell like marijuana the moment you walk up to it don’t stay here. If you want an accessible place to stay and require a wheel chair don’t stay here.

  Update post stay!!! After speaking with Management upon checkout this morning. I slept well breakfast looked good and I truly believe that they are working to improve the building and the customer service. I assume that the disclaimers and such are from the management prior, so I would recommend staying here based on my observations and experience. I really enjoyed speaking with the manager this morning his pleasantness changed my mind completely. I really hope that more people will give honest positive reviews of this location and that they really do continue to improve overall! Thank you guys Alabama is beautiful and when we go on our next vacation we will book with you! The employees are not very friendly, but it is what it is. The room is cleaner than I had read in the reviews found on Google. I honestly was afraid to check in! The management are greedy and they have a disclaimer that they have the right to enter your room. Even with a DND sign to check cleanliness and maintainence which makes me uncomfortable. I checked the sheets and they appeared clean. Building is run down, but nothing I wouldn't tolerate for a night. Water pressure was good! Laundry room is only open 8-8. The policies are VERY militant. Some things need repair/TLC. Smells weird in the hallway like an apartment complex hall. It's boogie ghetto. Lol
