  Its a subway off the highway in the middle of nothing close. Its a stop i do every time on my way home from Anchorage.

  Food is good- it's subway. so, just good. lol Service is friendly. Cost is too much, but, it's Talkeetna so it's expected. It's my regular stop for kid's hockey trip to Fairbanks or my annual snowmachine trip to Talkeetna. So, it's familiar and I like it.❤️ Unisex bathrooms, plenty of seating & parking. The place is clean everytime I go there.

  I had a disappointing experience at this location. The employee preparing my sandwich did not pack it properly—vegetables were hanging out from all sides, making it messy and difficult to eat. This is not how sandwiches are typically prepared at other locations of the same chain. When I politely pointed out the issue and asked if it could be fixed, instead of addressing my concern, the employee became argumentative. Good customer service means listening to customers and correcting simple mistakes, not debating with them. I hope management provides better training on both food preparation and customer service so future customers have a better experience.
