I was praying to the lord that this lady would be in a better mood before arriving. Yup, this is the 2nd and last time i try to send anything with this UPS middle person. Not only is she rude, she lazy and has no customer service whatsoever.

The gentleman who works here is an absolute peach, truly wonderful. A blue UPS sign is out front (shared building with dress shop/tailor).

Very rarely do I share my opinions on here but I have had such a poor experience with this UPS location I just simply have to. I needed to send my phone to Apple to be repaired which is a simple request and is done all the time. I walked in and informed the couple working the counter that Apple should have sent in the packing label and the details for the return. They looked at me like I had no idea what I was talking about. The lady in the store actually said that that's not how its done. I assured her it was as I had just finished speaking with Apple customer service. They finally figured out what they were doing and found the email that was sent. The lady then proceeded to grab a USED box from the back and ONE layer of bubble wrap for protection to send in the phone. The man went and grabbed more bubble wrap at least after having a full blown argument with the woman about how to pack the iPhone. He then proceeded to pack the box in the laziest fashion while literally reading instructions on how to do so off of his computer. The box would have fallen apart in transit the way he packed it. I then asked if he could put more tape on the box so it at least stays together and actually makes it to the destination. This was the end of the world for him. He gave me the tape and TOLD ME TO DO IT. He then threatened to call the police on me for telling him he was incompetent at his job. After, I asked if there was any insurance or a tracking number because of how poorly managed the package was I was weary of my package being delivered. He lost it on me! He had no idea if there was a tracking number or not. To sum everything up I would say this is the most unorganized incompetent unprofessional UPS I've ever witnessed. These people have no idea what they are doing. I would trust a 5 year old to pack a box more than them. I have absolutely no faith my package is going to get where it is supposed to. They don't even deserve a single star.
I just wanted to come on here and express my appreciation for Mike, who was very patient with me on the phone. I was trying to get in touch with anyone from UPS that might be able to stop a package from being "returned to sender". He explained that they (the Juneau UPS Store) would not be the ones to call for this kind of inquiry, but he still did what he could to help me out...I know customer service isn't exactly an easy feat. Especially when the customer hasn't called the correct number to begin with. So, thanks for humoring me, Mike. Your willingness to assist did not go unnoticed.
This location *really* needs a drop box if it's not going to open until 9am. I tried dropping a package at 7:15 am (that has a pre-made mailer so I couldn't just ship with USPS), but it's closed and there's no option to do that. For working people, shipping only 9-5 just isn't ideal.
