I’m not sure why I bothered going to the store today but thought I would give them the opportunity to prove me wrong. The customer service has been pretty poor in the past. Well they didn’t disappoint- from showing them my ring that had been damaged/the stone had fallen out to telling me I needed an appointment even though there was no other customers in the store. Then being told my ring would have to be sent away for an estimate to be completed. - it only needs a few setting. For a world renowned brand, it is an antiquated system. I appreciate that the repair cannot be completed on the day but surely a quote can be given by picking up a telephone or do they not have any? I do not live in London and I cannot keep returning so I have a very expensive ring I cannot wear and that is likely to sit in a drawer for the rest of my days.

Ring previously repaired by Tiffany, then snapped in the same spot years later. Service centre refused free repair and insisted it was normal wear. Paid £80. Very poor aftercare for a luxury brand.

So very disappointing! I wanted to purchase a specific key ring and they wanted me to wait and wait and I didn’t understand what I should have waited for! I am not a tourist, I am not in leisure time mode, I just wanted to go in, purchase what I was looking for , pay and go! But they wanted to make it an unnecessary complicated situation!

I happened to be passing Tiffany & Co. and, as I’d been thinking about treating myself to a ring for my 40th, decided to have a look. Tina was brilliant, friendly, helpful and never pushy. I wasn’t sure on the day, so she gave me a business WhatsApp contact and kept me updated. I later found out the ring I liked was the last one available worldwide in that design and size, so I took it as a sign and went back for it! Tina also helped arrange the engraving and made the whole process incredibly easy. Impeccable service throughout, including refreshments and Tiffany chocolates on arrival. A really special experience and a huge thank you to Tina for making it so memorable.
