  Excellent customer service from Alex at Loewe in Selfridges. My visit started with some confusion regarding the availability of a couple of hats, which was frustrating. However, Alex stepped in, listened carefully, acknowledged my concerns, and handled the situation with professionalism and genuine care. What stood out most was that he made me feel heard and valued as a customer. His calm, understanding approach completely turned the experience around. Thank you, Alex, for your outstanding service. You are a credit to Loewe and Selfridges.

  It was a quiet afternoon, two white staff were on the floor and zero customer in the store but me. The guy was constantly going in and out of the stock room and faffing on the computer, while the female was on the phone with who I suppose was a client. The male staff scanned me but NEVER intended to assist me. Red flag #1. When the female got off the phone she immediately came to assist me. I told her I wanted to try the Madrid bag. I was told it was a 'Made to Order' bag, so I won't be able to buy it today. Red flag #2. She said I was in luck and could try it though because they just so happen to have one in stock that was waiting for a client to pick up. Guess what happened 5 minutes later? After showing me all the different ways to use the bag, and telling me why it is so unique and only available made to order for the 'most loyal customers'. She told me she asked the manager, pesumably the other guy who was too busy to help, that I could take this bag because their client just so happen conveniently declined it. Red flag #3. This bag is readily available in the online store, I simply don't know why they felt the need to make up such ridiculous story lines. If you tell a lie, at least have the courtesy to stay consistent. Red flag #4. I didn't know which part was worse, the part where I was being lied to at first, because I went to other Loewe stores in London and I was told the 'made to order' part was simply not true. Or the part where they went back on their own words and wanted to sell it to me before I decided to leave that hot mess. In any case, I won't be going back to this boutique, nor this brand really, where these type of malpractice are tolerated and justified.

  Although I love the quality of the products and teaming up with studio ghibli. When it’s cheaper to get a flight over to Japan, stay in a nice hotel and visit the Studio Ghibli museum and experience it all in the source, than it is to buy a jumper. Then I think the priorities are in the wrong place.

  Staff in their newest pop up store has zero work ethics. Selfridges closes at 6pm on Sunday, but they decided amongst themselves that they are too busy that they need to close the queue at 5:20 and do not let anyone in after 5:28, despite the fact there were only 2 or 3 customers in their pop up store at the time. The security guy there was really rude, also even the queue was supposed to close, he still let his friends in instead of genuine customers. So if your store decides to close at random hours like that then at least publish it on the website or put a sign up.
