  My purchase was processed digitally at the Heathrow Terminal 3 store and the item was delivered by DHL to my London home on 23rd March 2026. At the point of sale, the sales assistant explicitly assured me that I could process a return online if needed. I decided to buy the bag solely because of this assurance. Had I known online returns were prohibited, I would have walked away from the purchase. Based on that assurance, I later decided to return the bag. However, their online portal rejected the return. When I contacted Loewe global customer service, they contradicted the store staff, stating online returns are impossible for airport purchases and directing me back to the Heathrow boutique. I then contacted the Heathrow store directly. Despite their initial false promises, they insisted I had to post the bag back to the airport myself. Recognising the immense risk of shipping an £1,800 luxury item independently, I repeatedly requested both global customer service and the Heathrow boutique to arrange a secure courier collection from my home. Both teams flatly refused, hiding behind "company policy" and forcing me to assume all transit risks. The Heathrow store explicitly instructed me to use Royal Mail Special Delivery (Guaranteed by 1 PM). Adding insult to injury, they refused to cover the costs, and I had to pay for the return postage entirely out of my own pocket. I followed the staff's instructions and posted the item under tracking number SE 3104 1794 2GB. Predictably, the bag went missing in transit. When I reported the loss, Loewe’s customer service was utterly substandard. They simply said they monitored this closely and offered nothing else. Instead, I was left entirely on my own to handle a stressful, time-consuming investigation with Royal Mail. Through my own exhaustive efforts, I eventually secured a refund directly from Royal Mail, but the administrative burden should never have been mine to bear. As a regular consumer of luxury goods, I expect service that matches a premium price point. I recently discussed this situation with my Cartier Sales Assistance at the Sloane Street boutique, who was utterly appalled that a luxury house like Loewe would refuse a simple courier collection in London, let alone abandon a client when their own flawed return instructions led to a lost transit.

  Too open and with few places to get a quiet place. And the thing heathrow has a lack of is charging stations.
