Came here post a solid workout, so naturally I was absolutely starving. First ever trip to Wingstop as well, so expectations were fairly high given the hype.
As we walked in, I’ll be honest, there was immediate panic when I realised I had to actually speak to a member of staff instead of safely ordering from a screen.
Went for the 10 boneless wings, ranch dip, and fries. We got handed one of those wee number stands and told to grab a seat. About 10 minutes later, the folk sitting next to us handed us our food… which genuinely threw me. Unsure if Wingstop have introduced some sort of community food delivery scheme to save money, or if there had just been a mix-up. Either way, a minute later staff brought over more food, confusion cleared, and it was time to tuck in.
Now the important bit. The food.
The wings were top class. Proper juicy, packed with flavour, and that ranch dip absolutely carried things over the line. Elite sauce.
The fries though? Mid.
Price-wise, it came to £18, which for what it was feels just that wee bit steep. Nice as a treat, but not exactly somewhere I’ll be sprinting back to every week.
Final verdict: Great wings, elite ranch, forgettable fries, mild confusion with the delivery system. Worth trying, but bring a healthy bank balance.
