  Highly recommend this hotel! Top notch experience. The kids loved the pool. The breakfast was amazing and well beyond the typical continental breakfast experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The complementary hot beverage machine in the lobby was a nice touch with a wide selection of coffee and other beverages.

  We had an excellent experience for our two days stay with our dog. The landscape was well maintained and beautiful. This hotel has something other hotels don’t have such as a salt water heated swimming pool and a fire pit. The staffs are always smiling and helpful. For example one afternoon I went to get a coffee the staff asked me if I need milk she would get some for me from the kitchen. The other time one staff would remind me that I will get fresh brew coffee if I use the machine beside it. The only thing that I was upset about was a 30+ mins waiting time for the room to make up at arrival. Check in time was 3pm but we arrived at 5pm. That means there was a 2.5 hours delay. I guess it was just an exceptional busy weekend. I saw the staffs were very busy cleaning everywhere and they are still smiling to the customers. At the end we were offered a late checkout. Anyways the overall service made it up. We really enjoyed the stay.

  What a fabulous place to stay!!! Has to be the best check in experience EVER with Sherry!!! She was very welcoming and provided all sorts of very relevant info in an efficient and extremely courteous manner!! Room is spacious and feels new….bed is very comfortable! Breakfast was tasty with a spacious area to enjoy and eggs made to order! They have frozen in-house chef prepared meals if you don’t feel like going out. I was told they were tasty and it definitely was!

  Very disappointing stay at Best Western Walkerton. We went to reception because the room lamp and plug-in/power outlets were not working. Instead of sending someone to check, we were simply told to check the switches and try again. Our concern was not taken seriously, which was very frustrating. The check-in/check-out policy was also extremely inflexible. We were not allowed to check in before 3 p.m., and when we requested a short extension to stay until around noon, we were told we had to pay extra. We understand hotel policies, but there was very little effort to accommodate guests. Overall, the customer service and experience were far below expectations. I’m honestly not sure how this hotel has a 4.6 Google rating based on our experience. I can’t comment on the authenticity of other reviews, but our experience certainly did not match that rating. I strongly recommend reading recent reviews carefully before making a reservation here.
