  A luxury brand that sells shoes should be able to process returns if you misplaced the box the shoes were shipped online in. Especially since nowadays you are forced to shop online, Michael Kors stores have little if any stock and shoe sizes to try on in their stores. I have never- not even in a communist country- experienced the kind of coldness and lack of care or customer support as while trying to return shoes I bought from Michael Kors online at their Yorkdale mall store. 4 young employees led by their manager stood there and listened to me trying to call the customer service 1800 number, only to be disconnected twice for no apparent reason and and be told the third time by the call center employee, just as the store manager had told me, that Michael Kors does not accept shoe returns without the box the shoes were shipped in. Receipt - purchased a few weeks ago online- is irrelevant. It's not just the inability to return that bothered me, but the complete disdain and lack of care experienced inside the Yorkdale mall Michael Kors store- by both store manager and her employees. If you're there for a return, and not to spend dollars in their store, you're to be told the policy and stared at by 4 employees while calling the 1800 customer service number 3 times on your personal phone. I was told it is "Inappropriate" to try to return shoes without the box they were shipped in. No help. No care. Go figure it out, "valued" customer- but not in our store. Go online, call. Etc etc. Do better, Michael Kors, training your store employees, and with operations.

  I visited this location for the first time a few weeks ago to return an item I purchased online. From the second I walked in, the sales rep (I don't remember her name but it started with an R) seemed displeased. I kindly explained how I wanted to make a return and showed her the receipt and the item. Despite it being well before the 30 day return window deadline, she was hesitant to make the return AND even had the audacity to tell me "this item is final sale" when it WASN'T. When I replied and said "actually it isn't final sale", she said "ok fine do you have the credit card you used?" LOL. absolutely terrible customer service.
