  We had a great stay at Best Western Sands. The room was very comfortable and included shampoo, body wash, and even lotion. We reserved the spacious room with two queen beds, and it also had a large sofa bed, making it perfect for up to six people. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the beach. There is a restaurant inside the hotel, plus beauty salons and coffee shops nearby. About a 5-minute walk away, you'll find a great variety of international restaurants and food options from many different countries. Overall, a comfortable stay in a convenient location. Highly recommended!

  After a long time travelling we weren't expecting to be woken the next morning, at 6.30, to a dog barking. Yep, they allow dogs. This motel really knows how to cash in when an event is being held. We booked months out, not knowing the soccer was on. The prices were over 4 times their normal price. We asked for a current comparison quote for the nights we were staying. Couldn't provide one. We do all our bookings through a 3rd party, a lot of bookings. I could have gone back to them with a chance of a partial refund. We needed that quote. For the price we were charged we could have stayed at the Pan Pacific, Hyatt or Fairmont. Its a reasonable area to stay in but would I stay there again,,,hell no.

  Initially put off by the location of a sports bar in the hotel lobby but it was a very friendly bar seving good food and drinks. Hotel Rooms a good size with comfortable bed and good shower. Parking available but limited. Good location close to beach and Stanley Park good bus service to Waterfront & Canada place.

  Von außen denkt man sich erstmal: oh mein Gott! Wo bin ich hier gelandet? Habe ich das wirklich gebucht? Aber die Zimmer sind voll in Ordnung! Das Personal sehr nett. Hat uns mit dem vollen Gepäck geholfen. Renovierung (vor allem bei der Klimaanlage und den Fenstern) wäre langsam notwendig. Für eine Städtereise absolut ausreichend. Vorsicht! Partydistrikt! Es könnte vor allem am Wochenende zu enormen nächtlichen Lärm, sowohl vor dem Hotel als auch dahinter, kommen.

  Noisy room due to being by road side all night we could hear traffic noise. Requested for a late check out as we have been traveling over a month and also were heading to a cruise but the hotel without any consideration rejected the request
