  Perfect location to access both Courtney and Comox. Service staff were helpful. Breakfast room was a little slow on replenishing supplies but was adequate.

  Stayed two nights. The location is convenient, but this property seems to be in difficulty. The fitness centre is dirty and poorly maintained. The breakfast was limited to bad coffee, cold cereal, and cold “hot” food. There’s a lot of empty counter space where other breakfast items used to be svailable. They are the only BW property I know of that charges for lobby coffee Parking is inconvenient. I’m a BW Diamond member, which was not acknowledged when I checked in. I thought I would give this property another chance after a previous disappointing stay. No more.

  Stay #1: I always stay at Best Western when I am in Courtenay. Their included breakfast is a nice add on and their free coffee in the lobby is nice (their specialty coffee used to be free. It’s only $1 now). Josh checked me in late night and was friendly and accommodating. He even remembered me from my last stay. Would recommend staying here and o heard their pool is almost fixed. Would be nice if they had a Tesla charger. Stay #2: Also I cannot call front desk as the hotel phone says it’s an invalid number. Stay #3: I asked the front desk that the room provided in stay #2 was too close to the bridge (metal bridge + cars driving over it is quite loud). I asked them that when I come back for stay #3 to put me as far away as possible. I work in healthcare and have long shifts so a good nights rest is important. If you refer to the Google Maps picture, for stay #3 they put me in the room that is the closest to the bridge. Complete opposite of what I requested. Must be a cruel joke . Stay 4 + 5: staff are new so I understand. Upgrading my stars to reflect that

  My company booked a room in advance with a company card. Checked in close to midnight due to traveling and they could not find a card and I was told “They booked the room but I don’t know they’re going to pay for it”. Had I not brought my own cc with me I would have been sleeping in my truck. How they would lose the billing information but not the reservation I don’t understand. Front desk service was terrible, didn’t even point me in the direction of the room.
