Only one staff member on front desk and she was being flooded. Super nice young lady doing her best but took a while to check in as she was handling incoming calls, room calls, checking, inquiries at the desk.
Pool open until 10, so be prepared if you are hoping to get in bed earlier than that, kids screaming may impact your sleep timing.

If I could give zero stars I would.
We were placed in a room on the third floor where they were replacing carpets in rooms and hallways. We had absolutely no knowledge of the renovations during booking and only found out upon arrival. We returned to the hotel mid afternoon after our first night to find our room door wide open with all our personal belongings exposed to the world while the workers were laying the carpet at the doorway completely invading our privacy in what is supposed to be our private safe space for the duration of our stay (minus the hotel staff doing their quick towel exchange). The fumes from the carpet glue was coming in our room so bad we all got headaches and my asthmatic wife and son had severe difficulties breathing. We had to have a wet towel at the bottom of our door and our window open full time just to help them
breathe and attempt to clear out the fumes and prevent more from coming in. We asked for a different room but the hotel was booked solid and there were no rooms available. The best they would offer was 2000 reward points (no fault of theirs, the front desk ladies were working within their abilities). This falls completely on management for the pure greed and lack of care for people’s health. Other guests were experiencing the same thing on the floor and it was an extremely salty atmosphere amongst the guests. The third floor should have been completely shut down during the renovations and at the very least, our room along with everyone else on this floor should have been refunded.
Next up, we needed to wash some clothes so we proceeded to use the hotels coin operated machines and the washing machine ruined our clothes with a sludge/grease like substance. Hotel staff proceeded to blame “the socks” for somehow producing grease and smearing it all over the other clothes and the best they offered was to rewash in the staff washing machine. Stains did not come out.
Lasty, the pool and waterslide. The hotel staff is so anal on patrolling the facility with the threat of $100 fines for parents sneaking in a stress relieving beverage (this includes water next to a pool full of water) after carting kids through West Ed mall or spending a long day at a sporting event that they disregard the reckless behaviour of kids and adults in the pool/waterslide. Unsupervised kids flying down the slide in groups running over kids at the bottom making it completely unsafe for others. They should spend a little less time enforcing their beverage rules and enforce some safety standards.
We will not be returning to this hotel.

Hotel price was affordable and rooms were clean/spacious. The hot breakfast was yummy and no long line ups as it was laid out well. The pool and waterslide were fun for my teen boys.
Location is under 10 min from outlet shopping and just over 20 min to west ed. Will definitely stay here again.
Very kind front desk staff, always makes for an enjoyable visit.
Calming lobby, finally a hotel not playing news on the tv 24/7, actually had a comedy network on.
Clean pool, kid had fun.
Apps on tv aka Roku, big plus
Pillow cases were hard, had to take them off to sleep. Verrry strong bleach/detergent smell from the bedding. Found it hard to sleep.
Also smells like they have brand new carpet everywhere, which is nice.
Breakfast was adequate and good, although they started putting it away at 940 when it finished at 10. Did not get juice in time.
Generally a very good visit.
