  Travelled from Calgary for a family funeral. Arrived and the rooms I booked were not booked from another booking company & they had doubled charged my card. Sandra the manager was amazing. She made sure we had the rooms and beds needed + pet friendly room available. She fixed the problems others made & helped in this stressful situation. Also received some comp meals from restaurant. She made everything right and went beyond that to make sure I was happy. Ended up staying an extra night and the other manger gave amazing rates to me and my family. Thank you for everything and all your kindness and friendly staff all appreciated and made trip good. Luv the pet friendly rooms and having Smitty’s right there. Good food and restaurant staff r out going & friendly. Can honestly say they are all hard workers & make sure you’re happy with everything. Will book again but only directly with them.

  Heard an old friend was coming to town so checked all the hotels/motels thinking maybe I heard it wrong. Needless to say someone said not to feel sorry for me and that I was a homeless but so I uttered some slurs on my way out and been being followed ever since.

  Held team meetings at the Best Western Cold Lake and the entire experience was great. Hotel - rooms were space, quiet and clean. Onsite restaurant - Smitty’s staff were very attentive. Food was reasonably priced and delicious. Smitty’s staff supported our onsite meeting needs and went above and beyond. Leah and her staff out did themselves.
