During Easter ... great place to get free picture. And buy some pictures for extra different sizes, to send to friends and family.
And of course guaranteed to have anything for your fishing needs.
Boat on sale for 20 grand.
I have yet to ask him if they can finance, that'd be awesome
Cuz then I probably do about the 40 to $50,000 one. 🤤🤤🤤

Waited over an hour and a half in the hunting department. I got there around 6:30 and finally had enough waiting at 8:00 pm. For some reason they decided to have only one very slow old man manning the counter, while having two more people in the office behind him while myself and another customer stood there waiting. People shouldn't have to get to a place early just to wait until damn near close to be acknowledged.

Worst Easter Bunny Photos ever! Bad experience with staff. Communication was terrible, they did not allow you to choose your photos, they picked for you. Bought two separate packets and they only gave one of the free photos in one of the packages. Said you only get one, but that’s per packet, which we bought two of. Did not allow the kids to get situated before taking the photos. Paid $50 for two packages that didn’t even show both kids. Totally disappointed in Bass Pro.

If you enjoy wasting hours of your life while being talked down to, this is your place.
I walked in ready to make a purchase and was met with long waits, zero urgency, and a whole lot of condescension. The mansplaining was next level—like I should be grateful just to be acknowledged. Not happening.
I was told the background check could take up to 10 days. Cool. I waited. I came back after that timeframe, waited AGAIN, only to be told the time had “lapsed” and I’d have to redo the entire process… after already paying.
So let me get this straight—you take my money, waste my time, fail to communicate properly, and then expect me to start over like it’s no big deal? Absolutely not.
At that point, I asked for a refund because I wasn’t about to jump through hoops for a second time. And of course, even that took another 30 minutes.
No accountability, no respect, no efficiency. Just a frustrating, drawn-out experience from start to finish.
I left without what I came for and with zero (which should be their review too) desire to ever come back. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

My girlfriend and I decided to explore Bass Pro in Tacoma on our way home from a day of exploring yesterday. Tacoma is a fair distance from where we live, and we had only a cursory knowledge of the store. But we did know that they are substantially bigger than our local options and therefore, we were looking forward to the expanded selection as well.
The challenge came when we hit the firearms selection. The very well-staffed firearms section. I was looking for holster options for my pistol and my girlfriend was interested in a new 9mm. The gun counter had a couple computers and a poster which displayed “save your place in line” and showcased the option to sign in and then be texted when a staff was ready to help you. Cool concept for busy times, but seemed unnecessary since there was only one other customer at the counter. There were also 6 employees. Two talking with the other customer. Four chatting amongst themselves. And then the other customer left. And still we waited.
It took over 10 minutes for any of the six staff to even acknowledge our existence. When one did, he asked if we needed help, said we needed to sign into the electronic system to see any firearms in the case, and then walked away again. Seriously?
Here’s why this is a problem.
If you want people to sign in to see firearms, fine. That would create a record and I can see an argument for that on the business end. There should be clear signage stating customers NEED to sign into the electronic system then. Not signs that indicate signing in is only a convenience for the customer. And staff should be clear with customers and offer to get them signed in so they can quickly get to what makes the money- letting customers see the firearms and optics.
Regardless, there should never be a situation where six staff members are talking and laughing amongst themselves, seeming to do zero appreciable work and “bro-ing out” while the only customers are pointedly ignored.
Excluding the boats, what department in Bass Pro has bigger ticket items than firearms? Staff should be falling over themselves to help customers in that department. And yet I was offered far more help in three other departments.
So, Bass Pro lost the opportunity to sell a 9mm pistol and about $150 in ammo to go with it. We might have a smaller selection of firearms locally, but they understand customer service.
But I bought a $5 tick remover at Bass Pro, so I guess that was a win for them.
