  My wife and I needed to stay for a couple of days to attend a funeral. The hotel was very close to the railway station and suited us perfectly. The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. Restaurant was very good and they took great care over my coeliac disease.

  Hotel very close to the train station. Often stay at this hotel as it is convenient for work. Room were clean and quiet. Staff are pleasant ☺️

  Good location just across from the train station if you didn't want to use the car. Parking on-site really limited so had to use the train station car park, which was good, but had to get up at 4am to renew parking fee!!! Loads of restaurants just a short uphill walk.

  Although the lifts were out of order and had apparently been so for some time, the staff compensated by being extremely helpful and accommodating. Steve & Chloe assisted the more elderly with luggage and arranging ground floor accommodation were possible. Chloe enlivened breakfast with here cheerful manner and clear information. and was vigilant in ensuring the buffet meals met expected standards Mark, the Chef , was happy and efficient in preparing individual breakfasts for customers particular wishes.
