  After myself, partner and baby got stranded at 2 AM due to cancelled trains, we decided to try our luck for a room at this Premier Inn. We were amazingly surprised at how quickly the front desk sorted us out and were in a superbly clean room in under ten minutes. Five minutes later they hauled a cot inside too. Though we only slept for maybe four hours, they were the most restful and needed after our late flight. We couldn’t recommend this Premier Inn enough, and it was cheaper than the taxi options.

  I had a great check-in experience thanks to Ileana. She was very friendly, welcoming, and professional from the moment I arrived. She made the check-in process smooth and stress-free and was happy to answer all my questions. I especially appreciated her helpful recommendations for local restaurants and meal deals, which helped me make the most of my stay. Thank you, Ileana, for your excellent service and hospitality. You made a great first impression and helped start my stay on a positive note.

  Stayed here the night before our flight. Arrived to check in early evening was unable to do on self check in, spoke to someone who said our room had not been allocated yet, even though it was hours after check in time. She did sort it for us. But when we got to the room we had booked a twin room. There was a double bed & sofa bed but no bedding on the sofa bed, so me and my adult daughter had to share a double as it was too late to ask for a bed to be made up as we had an early flight in the morning.

  PROS - Literally steps away from the shuttle as you enter North Terminal, with a dedicated elevator and signage. - Mostly automated check in, with staff standing by to help. - Clear directions and signage throughout. - Room clean, modern and well appointed with good view. - Restaurant serves great food, if a little overpriced. - Bar and coffee shop are easy to find and use. - Buses and trains literally next door. CONS - Somewhat expensive for a Premier Inn. I get why and not necessarily a complaint, but still. It's a bit off-brand for them and feels like they're trying to cater to two separate audiences with this one.

  We picked this hotel for a pre-flight one night stay. Thanks to BA (grrrrr) we had to spend an extra night. The first night we stayed in a 'Vista' room on 10th floor. It did have a view of the planes and was clean, comfortable and amazingly quiet, but had a bath with a shower over it. The second night this room type wasn't available so we opted for a Premier Plus room on 9th floor. This also had a view but not as good. But we appreciated the walk in shower and a bigger desk area. Hugo was very helpful in reception and allowed us to move seamlessly from one room to the other. First night we ate in the airport (surprisingly good) and the second at the hotel. Service and food were good. Restaurant gets busy - make sure to book. We arrived around 3:30 and had to wait a short while in reception for our room. But around 4:30 the queue for check-in was a long way back outside the building - which was unpleasant for those waiting as it was >30 degrees and sunny. Also a couple of the lifts/elevators were out of action so you need to leave more time than you think to enter/exit the building. But location very close to the monorail between North & South Terminal makes this an excellent place to stay when travelling.
