  Lovely hotel had a great stay must say the staff are amazing especially Sam and Donna in the restaurant so friendly and happy and helpful I’ll definitely be coming again

  The hotel rooms are looking a little dated, especially as the website advertises newly refurbished rooms. It may be that only some rooms have been updated so far, with the remaining rooms still to be completed as part of Premier Inn's ongoing refurbishment programme. The restaurant on site was a real highlight. I ordered the loaded nachos to start and asked if they could be made with real cheese instead of cheese sauce. Sam was more than happy to accommodate the request and provided friendly, welcoming service throughout. For the main course, I chose the mixed grill. It's usually something I avoid because they're often disappointing, but this was genuinely one of the best mixed grills I've had in a long time. Everything was cooked perfectly by Abbie and was full of flavour. While the room could benefit from an update, the excellent food and outstanding service from Sam and Abbie made for a very enjoyable stay.

  While I know that the place is not a 4 star hotel, the rooms are clean and very comfortable, the service is basic but friendly. The restaurant had nice food and the staff very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay.

  From start to finish, the staff were friendly, cheerful, and efficient and looked as if they really enjoyed doing their job. We were especially impressed with Sam in the bar and restaurant who explained about our meal deal was very knowledgeable about the food available, and Tez who cooked our steaks exactly as requested unlike every other restaurant we tried during our stay in UK. The room was impeccably clean, and very comfortable. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

  The staff at this Premier Inn were great. The staff on reception helped us to change rooms to be away from the main car park and sorted out a TV issue, they we're really professional and kind. The cleaners were also friendly and cheerful. Only thing that made it 4 stars for the rooms was no air con, but that's not available at this Premier Inn.
