  Stayed in room 60, right under the motorway. Very noisy with motorbikes and cars speeding past. Windows only open about 10cm and with this record hot tempers and no air conditioning, that is far from pleasant. So needless to say, we didn’t get any sleep at all!! Our room did have a fan, but blowing hot air around the room isn’t doing much to cool it. To the most positive about this hotel…. The buffet breakfast was utterly delicious. Cocked to perfection by a lovely, what I think, a polish lady. She was very helpful and greeted everybody with a smile and some small chat. Thank you 👍 Location, well not ideal (like I said earlier) under the motorway and right next to a boarded up TGI Fridays. Very scruffy surroundings. The room was ok. Not the best, just a typical premier inn room but a bit more tired than most. Could do with an upgrade. Bed was very comfortable (as always) but with this heat (and no ac) a 13.5 tog winter duvet is not quite necessary.

  The rooms are fine bar no aircon,but we had booked 2 nights which was confirmed by the receptionist but the next day I was disturbed by the cleaner, (even though I had the do not disturb sign) and she was saying i had to leave and i explained we were booked in for 2 nights!! 10 minutes later i had the chef knock on my door and virtually accusing me of staying beyond my booking, again only for 1 night! I explained again that this was incorrect and to check our with the receptionist but this went on and I felt very uncomfortable having to explain our booking and how Ithis had been confirmed with the staff on arrival!! Then in the next 2 hours I had the maintenance coming in twice and rewiring the smoke detector etc. Not the relaxing stay i was hoping for !

  Not a good standard room for the price of £140+ mould in the bathroom along the floor edging. Live wore hanging out of light fittings. Not even a socket near the bed. Disappointed

  perfectly done qs they always are Just a shame they shut the restaurants on them have to find alternative evening meals
