  Met with a rather unfriendly reception after we checked in online. The room itself was clean but the window ledge outside was filthy. We needed the window open because it was so hot. They had a portable fan which we needed to keep on all night. That blocked out the traffic noise. But it's a shame there was no air conditioning. I'm not a fan of a room with no where to unpack your suitcase either, or no wardrobe. On a positive note, the bed was clean and comfortable and it's a reasonable price including breakfast. Breakfast is in the nearby beefeater and was very busy. The staff worked hard and I was well looked after with my gluten allergy. I didn't like having breakfast in a pub much. Despite all the shortcomings, we'll probably use Premier Inn again, because it is value for money, because the reception staff were cheerful and happy when we were leaving and because the restaurant staff were good and worked hard despite a little faux pas.

  Just checked into The Premier Inn Tamworth Central, i have had the best checking inn experience ever today..its a hot day, i had asked if i could have a different room and the brilliant lady on reception left her desk, went above and beyond to see out of two potential rooms avail which would be the coolest..turned on the fan in the room came back to reception and moved my booking quickly, professonally and with a really customer focussed approach!! Thank you. Some people are just made for hospitality!!!

  We stay here as a base to go to Drayton Manor. Unfortunately we don't expect to be going to Drayton Manor again so as a result we expect not to be going here again. It's a great place to stay and thank all the staff for being so nice and courteous all the times we have visited. I highly recommend staying at this Premier Inn.

  Excellent location for visit to Drayton Manor and onward journey south, close to motorway access. Busy Saturday night, a little noisy but didn’t affect us. Ground floor family room, right next to reception still quiet. Very clean and updated room. Only drawback no air conditioning which was difficult with four people sharing a room. A fan was provided which helped move air around. Ate in the restaurant, breakfast good and a varied continental and cooked provided. Dinner also very good, children’s selection had great vegetable sides.
