  Checking out today after a one night stay visiting family in Lichfield. We had a premier plus room which was as you would expect, air conditioning absolutely fabulous in this heatwave we’re having. Spacious room, comfy bed and clean and tidy. Pity these rooms aren’t on the top floor as the noise from room above was a bit annoying. Had dinner next door, which was just ok, although I wouldn’t return for dinner. We had breakfast this morning which was lovely, plenty of choice and really chilled. Staff in the restaurant all pleasant and helpful and the member of staff on reception when we checked in pleasant and chatty too. All in all, we would stay here again.

  Standard Premier Inn in Rugeley, enter your Vehicle Reg on entry, warm welcoming on arrival (and whenever returning or leaving the hotel) easy check in process. secure key card hotel entry past reception, Rooms are modern and clean, rooms are either showers or bath-showers (I was fortunate to have a bath!) easily accessible from the main road. short walk into the town, and a pleasant canel walk in either direction. meal deal vouchers twinned with Table Table restraunt.

  Good place to stay the night near Alton Towers. Staff for breakfast were lovely and helpful.

  Excellent for price. Next to a Whitbread pub (used for breakfast) and a McDonalds. Lots of parking and free (need to enter you reg into a machine at reception). Accepted my Whitbread shareholder card - so breakfast was free. Only two small negatives: corridor was very squeaky, but luckily I didn’t have many people walked past after nine-ish and air con was very difficult to control using control pad on the wall, even though there were instructions, which didn’t seem to correspond (the air con was noisy).
