  No USB sockets in the rooms!! I kindly asked at reception if they have a mains to USB I could borrow, NO! was the reply! I had to drive to 5 out of town shops to spend £16 on one so my phone wouldn’t run out the three days I was to be there. Appalling. The least Premier Inn could do is say there are no USB sockets in an email beforehand so I could bring one of the many I already have at home!! The man who initially checked me in was great, the older woman was terrible. Also had no mugs in the room for coffee, but only noticed on the first morning. The whole room needs a refresh. There is separate building which is the ‘restaurant’, but its shabby, no branding and a blank menu board outside. Not welcoming. The hotel wifi is so slow that it’s pointless. I’m shocked that it wasn’t anywhere near as good as a Travelodge.

  The room was as expected clean and tidy, breakfast was okay… however left an expensive pair of hair straighteners in the room and rang to tell them and apparently are nowhere to be seen although I know that I left them there and didn’t get any help to locate them.

  6 of us stayed on Saturday 30th May with the meal deal option. We were almost the only people in the restaurant . Ou dining and evening experience was let down by their being no drinks on tap - no beers, shandies or sodas. After a hot day , very disappointing. My annoyance was raised further by completing a whatsapp feedback, to get a reply saying they are not accepting “new” chats! I stay at Premier Inns regularly and am pleased to say this is my first poor experience, which is lucky because they make it impossible to complain.

  A nice premier inn with clean rooms and a nice breakfast and restaurant area. I wanted to leave a review as all the staff are so lovely and friendly. From the lady at reception to the people serving breakfast, they were all extremely busy but so calm, warm and friendly, such a lovely team and it makes such a difference to the customer experience. Thank you :)
