We stayed here wit week for 3 nights, we wanted somewhere in the middle of Thorpe park and Chessington world of adventures. This hotel is 20mins from each so was perfect for what we wanted. Our room was a family room with a double bed, and two single beds, the double mattress was incredibly comfy and we slept well. Cleanliness was spot on, although one day I did leave the sign on the door for room to cleaned, which they did, but they never took away the dirty towels or replaced any new towels, but quickly rectified at reception and they gave us new towels straight away. It's an old building so expect the windows to be single glazed and a bit watery.
The staff were very happy to help, very friendly, our first day the maintenance guy asked if we had any issues with our room or if we needed anything, which i thought was lovely, we didn't need anything.
The pub next door i was blown away with, its of an exceptionally high standard, beautiful scenic views out on the front patio, the breakfast was £11 per adult kids ate free! It's a buffet breakfast has anything and everything you would want, hot full English, pancakes, pastries, fresh juices, coffee, tea, etc and the staff were very attentive making sure the food area was spotless, and we had everything we needed.
Honestly we travel a lot and have stayed in a lot of premier inns/ holiday inns and travel lodges, this hotel is a great little find, we will definitely be back next time we visit the theme parks! I even might invest in one of their mattresses!
