  Im not sure if premier inn are cutting back to save money or have just given up. Went through 3 rooms and none had heating! Restaurant didn't have any heating on and looks abandoned! Food left a lot to be desired, reminded me of it's school meals! Gone very very down hill in recent months will be switching to travel Lodge!!

  Just spent 2 nights at Premier Inn Chessington over Halloween weekend. The hotel itself and our room were perfect, really clean. We stayed ground floor, at the back of the hotel in one of the family rooms. Our room was spacious and clean, only niggle I had was that the floor was really creaky. As we were staying to visit the theme park we loved that you could hear the screams from the rides from outside the hotel. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because of the hotel restaurant. Upon booking the hotel a few months ago, it does mention that restaurant is having improvements…I am aware that the brewers Fayre pubs had closed. We paid for the all you can eat buffet breakfast for our two nights, the breakfast service was faultless. However, after leaving the theme park at 7pm we were under the impression that as hotel guests we would be able to eat in the restaurant as we were too tired to venture out of the hotel. We entered the restaurant which didn’t seem busy, there was no front of house staff so we sat at a table, looked at the limited menu and picked what we wanted. Went to the bar to be quite rudely told by the woman behind the bar that we would be unable to order any food as she was on her own and already dealing with a large group of guests. We then had to order a takeaway to the hotel in order for us to eat. My issue here is that Premier Inn have chosen to keep these restaurants open and are being operated by using the same staff from the hotel, I’d even go as far as saying that it’s like a skeleton staff during a season shutdown but this was probably one of the busiest weeks of the year. The restaurant even during breakfast service feels eerie and abandoned and uncomfortably cold. If you do not have the right amount of staff to provide a full service of an evening for the amount of guests in the hotel then do not offer it at all!

  Checked in late evening. Used the check in machine. Simple and easy. Room was nice and clean and a good size. Tea and coffee facilities were ok. Wasn’t any sugar in the room, but easy to walk to reception and help ourselves to some. Bed was awful. Hard to sleep on with one soft pillow. Very poor sleep and back pain. Mentioned it at reception and was told they have changed mattresses to a different sort. Restaurant has to be pre booked breakfast and evening meals. If you don’t book for evening dinner then they may refuse service. Great location for Chessington World of Adventure. The staff were nice and friendly but this has to be the worst Premier inn I have stayed in and won’t be staying again. Would rather pay more and stay at chessington or further out

  This is a review for the restaurant only. Absolutely disgusting. No beer as draughty wasn’t working. No paper left in the building so couldn’t give me a receipt. No kids drinks left. No soap in toilets, toilets were absolutely disgusting as well. Literally one poor lady working all night on a Saturday night. There were 3 tables filled and she was serving them, cooking and doing the bar. 2026 and things like this still happens, awful. What a sad little place because someone could put some effort into this and make it a great place, but it’s a complete dive.

  We were greeted warmly on arrival by Jay at the Chessington Hotel - he was friendly, helpful and professional. Genuinely an asset to the company. Hotel was clean, quiet and a stones throw from the theme park, with a big car park and amenities in site. Recommended
