  Disappointing!! Booked over the bank holiday (so would think they would be stocked up) This has to be one of the worst Premier inn I have been too, the Toilet was dirty it was actually disgusting. The room was okay, but nothing like I've stayed in before. Breakfast - they had no white bread. Crossiants- were made to order - all finished, start saying kitchen closed at 10.30am (suppose to be open till 11am). We booked 2 single beds and got 1 double and 1 single - but paid more for the 2 single beds booking. They really need to fix up, staff were okay, they are just working thrre, trying to get through their shift. Definitely won't be back here.

  Rooms were clean and comfortable. Aircon worked really well. No on site car parking but pay and display car park just 2mins away. Person checking us in said he'd "had enough of this [swear word for poo]" - i don't mind a bit of humanity but don't take it out on the customer with poor service. Failed to ask if i wanted breakfast, i came down to book as a notice in the room said this was imperative, and was told "no point turning up at 630am or 7am" - frankly a bit pathetic for a hotel accommodating businesses, i did not get breakfast, when asking for a refund was told "good luck".

  Not a great experience really. Only one towel for 4 people staying in the room. One person serving and one person cooking breakfast with a full hotel which basically meant we didn't get served so paid for a breakfast we didn't get. Nothing topped up as not enough staff to keep up with the demand. Also what is going on with the fan in the room blaring when someone goes in the toilet. Not a good night sleep at all

  The room cost me £145 for 1 night. The restaurant is closed and the rooms are at best tired. The room was dirty and the smell of damp coming from the bathroom was horrible. The reception staff are over the top weird. After a very long and tiring day all I wanted was my room key and my bed, but I had to put up with his theatrics, his attempt at humour wasn't funny....I nearly lost it at one point but managed to control myself. Overall, a poor hotel which is in need of a complete overhaul.

  Staff are warm,helpful and accommodating, rooms are clean,tidy have adequate facilities. Town and local amenities are in walking distance, nice variety of coffee shops and restaurants. And the main shopping centre is good. Beautiful churches, friendly people.
