  You get what you would expect from a Premier Inn. Low score is that the Beefeater is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays (except for Breakfast), so don't book Dinner, Bed & Breakfast. The closure is not listed on the website and you can still book D, B & B......

  I had a generally good stay. The staff were lovely and worked really hard, though it was clear they were understaffed and busy. The room was hot, but they thoughtfully provided a fan, which was appreciated. However, the bathroom had a damp smell, which I discovered was from the shower curtain. I also request extra toilet roll from downstairs in reception which wasn’t ideal. On the positive side, the Beefeater across the road had lovely food. Overall, I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5.

  The hotel is a clean and comfortable bed and a nice shower ,not far from the town centre ,however the beefeater next door,friendly staff but the food really let it down ,I only had a burger with chips but even so ,it still needs to be nice, I would have been better off at Mc Donald’s ,the beer was £6.20 a pint ,I went to a local pub and it was £4.10 unfortunately they only had pies and sausage rolls ,but they were better
