  Just come back from a brilliant weekend staying at this hotel for Manchester Village Pride. The room was massive and very clean, the bed was ultra comfortable, check in and out was easy thanks to the staff and the breakfasts were superb and tasty. A special shout out to the restaurant staff at breakfasts over this 3 day weekend, they were polite and friendly and gave such a 5 star service even down to the young man in the restaurant telling my partner to move as there was a slight leak (likely due to the weather ) and he didn't want him to get dripped on! Well done ro all concerned and thank you.

  Had a fab stay at this hotel. Staff ere amazing, great service, room was great very clean. Location great for what we needed. Definitely stay again

  Very disappointing experience, particularly because of how unprofessionally the situation was handled by one member of staff. Our whole family was present at check-in and no issue was raised about occupancy. Later, our 13-year-old daughter went to reception for an extra blanket. The staff member questioned her about who was staying in the room, told her that the arrangement was illegal and raised fire-safety concerns. This made her feel that she had done something wrong and she wasn't comfortable with the way she was spoken to by a stranger. Our concern is not that a safety issue was raised, but that it was handled in this way with a 13-year-old rather than being discussed with us as the adults responsible for the booking. We were then given contradictory advice: we were told we had to book another room or leave, but then the same member of staff told us we could book another room and he would turn a blind eye to everyone staying in the original room! We accept that we could have called ahead to confirm the arrangements, but the way this was handled was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

  I stayed there yesterday, I had a job interview today and it was easier for me to stay the night. The staff were friendly and reasonable, the food and drinks were excellent as well. The only thing I would say is when I tried to use their free Wi-Fi the security on my laptop said it was unsafe to use. Despite that I would recommend going there again.

  The hotel is in a good location, just a few minutes from the city center. Although the room was spacious, it felt almost empty, the few furnishings were heavily worn, the room was not very clean. Aside from soap and shower gel, there were no toiletries and the shower gel bottle had been refilled with water. The bathroom was also quite run-down, the toilet flush had hardly any water pressure, even though we were just on the second floor. The air conditioning did not work, I guess the hotel was aware of, as the window was left open when we arrived. Unfortunately, there was no screen to prevent insects. It became unbearably hot in the room at night. A refrigerator would have been good.Overall, the hotel was very disappointing.
