Good central location by the river, surprisingly quiet even although there are bars opposite. Really disappointed that we were refused a table in the morning for breakfast, even although we had been told on checking in that we could decide in the morning. We were told we would need to wait 40 mins (eating into out time in the morning). Just very disappointing that priority isn't given to guests actually staying in the Inn. Bed was clean and comfy but floor in bathroom needed a dam good clean!

Excellent location and with great staff. You can get everything for a walking distance. Everyone here is extremely helpful. They even offered to heat up my meal although it's for employees only. Special thanks to Mr Gary . Will surely stay here again.

We only spent one night here but we were really impressed by the member of staff on reception. He was efficient, informative and friendly. The evening meal was nice and doing the meal deal was really good value.
This hotel is clean, easy, close parking , nice meals and friendly staff.

I reserved the Premier Plus room with the expectation of an enhanced experience, particularly given my partner's menopausal symptoms. At approximately 3:00 AM, my partner experienced hot flashes, and upon attempting to adjust the air conditioning, I discovered it could not be set below 19°C. When I brought this to the attention of staff the following morning, I was informed that the air conditioning system was locked. I have since lodged a formal complaint, as Premier Inn explicitly guarantees a satisfactory night's sleep. I was advised that my partner should have sought assistance from hotel personnel during the night, rather than waiting until the morning. It is important to note that this hotel does not feature a traditional front desk, but rather a podium with a buzzer and two self-service check-in kiosks.
I have engaged with four advisors via telephone. One advisor exhibited a condescending tone by interjecting "amazing" after each of my statements, while another prematurely disconnected the call. The company's mission statement, which assures a refund for unsatisfactory sleep, does not explicitly guarantee a premium experience. This assertion appears to be unsubstantiated.
We have a WAV so parking can be a problem sometimes but Premier Inn had closed off the only accessible parking even though there was nothing behind the barriers. When asked the manager said it was there fire safety point?? No idea..anyway he offered free breakfast.
Our 'guaranteed' good night's sleep was ruined by the guy next door blasting his TV at max volume at 3am... No phone in room to call reception so went and had words myself. When I complained about this later I was told I should have gone to reception so there was nothing they could do...
Breakfast, though free now, was horrible (except for the muffins). Had to wait for sausages, the eggs were cold and runny, plates cold, the toaster didn't work properly.
When I did complain a few days later I was brushed off with excuses. Never again will I stay at Premier Inn.
