  First room had a funny smell and some of the carpet was wet. I knelt down to smell and it was definitely urine. I swapped rooms and went to have a shower and both the bath and the hand towel were dirty. Not great Premier inn!!!!!!!!!!!!

  We have stayed at the Premier Inn Dearne. Valley many times and have always been very pleased with our stays. This week, after 18 months , we were disappointed with the alterations which have taken place. Gone is the large restaurant to be replaced with a small cafe type dining room and serve yourself breakfast. The rooms are still comfortable and the food served is also good. Thankfully, Katie is still there who does the work of 3 people. She never stops, she is like a little whirlwind, a smile on her face all evening. She is the reason we will stay there again the next time we are in Wombwell.

  Had a lovely nights sleep! Ladies on the reception desk very happy and helpful. The room was fine apart from a few questionable stains on the bed sheets and chairs in the room, also a few crumbs on the floor in the room, upon arrival. The cleaners do need to do a thorough job, I’m not saying the room was a mess but attention to detail is what is needed 😊

  Room's were good and clean, location was good for us, staff were very friendly and helpful, food wasn't great evening meal was warm my wife's tender stem broccoli was cold and couldn't cut it , breakfast wasn't a lot of choice for continental and English breakfast was mainly cold to warm not as being told it's hot, we did mention this to a member of staff and she said she would let chef know, sorry but meal's let it down and to pay a decent amount of money for a meal deal it definitely wasn't worth it and because of this we wouldn't be going back sorry
