  I used to love staying at this Premier Inn in Newmarket for the past couple of years, the staff were outstanding, genuine, attentive, and really made you feel welcome. Unfortunately, in recent months, things have gone downhill. There’s been a big turnover in staff, and now the customer care feels apathetic. The food, which used to be a highlight, is now just average. I really hope they find a way to bring back the charm and care that made this place special.

  This Premier Inn felt a little different compared to other branches I’ve stayed at. The room and overall facilities were what you’d normally expect from Premier Inn, but the breakfast experience stood out. The dining area was very spacious with plenty of seating available, which made breakfast much more comfortable. There is limited parking available, located on the other side of the building. When I checked into my room, the shower gel dispenser was empty. I reported it to reception, but unfortunately had to remind them again before it was refilled. The staff were polite, although I didn’t find them particularly friendly or welcoming compared to other Premier Inn locations. One positive was the location, with several local shops and restaurants within walking distance, which was very convenient during my stay. Overall, a decent stay with a few areas that could be improved.

  We decided to stay on a whim. And I am really glad we did. I wouls of given a 9.99, only due to the lifts being out of order, but was given the choice to go up on the service lift.

  Car park next door, with spaces allocated to premier inn on second floor. However the car park has a height limit of 2m. We parked in Rous Street - free between 4pm and 8am, 5 minutes easy walk to premier inn.

  Good location for the town, free car parking opposite, nice rooms, great breakfast.
