  Nice and clean. Kitchen needs to do better, bacon looked like it was cooked on a radiator, burger tasted like it was deep fried. Service was always spot on and the Asian lookingmlasy on reception was a breath of fresh air, hyperactive and fun to be around! See ya again in July

  Very handy for the station. Welcoming staff, really lovely young man on reception I wish I'd got his name. Hopefully his manager will see this and appreciate the great staff there. The room was impeccably clean, the beds were comfortable and there were nice big windows and Aircon. Yes the Aircon can make noise but you can turn it off. Hair and body wash in the bathroom, tea and coffee facilities in the room with spare tea and coffee available at reception. Plenty of information about the local area. There's a bar and restaurant, we had the breakfast which was great value as always at premier inn, tasty sausages and a full selection of cooked and continental breakfast, coffees and juice. Everything you could need really. We'd been on a VERY delayed train but to get to that room and lie on that bed for a rest for a while was enough to restore us for a walk around the town in the evening, and a history lesson for my daughter who didn't grow up locally and hadn't seen my childhood/teenage haunts. Plenty of parking back and front. There are vending machines in reception but also very near Tesco and a Starbucks , and not very far to a pub and takeaways if you want to explore the area.   Conveniently located for my needs. Room was perfectly adequate and comfortable - only downside was shower extractor fan was going non-stop. Service was polite and helpful. Plenty of car parking space, and easy walking distance of local Tesco.

  Great location within easy walking distance (15 minutes) of the city centre, with free parking. Clean and comfortable rooms, good in-house food.

  Lovely staff. Very nice breakfast with gluten free options. Gluten free vegan sausages acceptable but why not provide gluten free meat sausages for everyone? They taste the same as gluten sausages and are readily available.
