Im here for work. I've been put in a disabled room. Not a massive issue, but the bed is really low as you'd expect for this type of room.
Its really uncomfortable and hard though.
An the WiFi is absolutely terrible. Why can't Premier inn get working Internet. Even when you pay for the premium wifi, its still terrible.
Rooms looking quite tired. Paintwork chipped in multiple places across several rooms ( we booked 5 for a family event). Location of excellent for what we wanted.
Arrived at 23:15. Checked the bed on arrival to find a huge stain on the sheets. I asked to swap rooms however they were full. I could not sleep on the bed therefore had no option but to leave. This is fine, the issue is that Premier Inn would have provide a partial refund for the nights stay. Why was this stain not spotted when cleaning the room and changed before becoming an issue in which now I have paid for a room I did not stay in. Luckily I found a hotel not too far, Travel lodge, which was much cleaner and more accommodating

Great hotel, clean rooms, plenty of space and really nice staff here. A great location with lots to choose from around if that’s shopping, food or a nice walk. The staff on reception were really helpful with anything we needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel if stopping in the area. We will be coming back here again.

I want to be fair here. The room we were allocated for our one night stay, as soon as we opened the door there was a musty stale smell, I went to open the window but in this room the window could not be opened. It was like the room was filled with hot moist air from the bathroom then the door was shut and nobody used the room for days. Also the room was cold and adjusting the thermostat up to 25deg did not help, still cold air coming out of the vent. After visiting reception and speaking to a lady, she advised me to open the bathroom door and switch the light on to engage the fan, also she can control heating from her office. Neither suggestions worked so I made a formal complaint. I am sure this was not the same for all the rooms at this hotel. We have stayed here before with no issues.
