What can I say other than a really pleasant stay, friendly staff who meet you on arrival, rooms that are super clean and breakfast that is yummy.
Whilst there is no onsite parking, you can park in the nearby Castle Quay Shopping centre, which is actually free over night before 7am. So if you leave after breakfast you will only pay around £2, or if you are an early riser it can be free.
The location is great too, it's right on the canal and opposite some really nice eating places, so if you are looking to eat you can eat in the onsite quite reasonably priced restaurant, or venture over the canal.
A highly recommend hotel.
Absolutely loved staying here! Best Premier inn I’ve ever stayed in (I’ve stayed in a lot due to work) had amazing views from the canal, very clean, everything in great condition. Staff were very informative and attentive. Just a fabulous stay and will definitely be back. Thank you

Great hotel and a lovely stay. Please ignore other reviews that say you need to request rooms on the canal side; all the rooms are canal side. Also IGNORE THE GOOGLE MAPS LOCATION. Google maps has this hotel and the Banbury M40 hotel in the same location - this hotel is next to Castle Quay shopping centre not the M40.

Really nice hotel... But "no frills". Super clean. Friendly service. Delicious breakfasts. Close to everything. Nice views. Safe. Comfortable beds!!! But...
No washcloths. The toilet tissue is the size of a slice of American cheese... And super thin. The pillows are about 3" thick. No phone in the room. The TV was really hard to figure out. And the bathtub faucets need instructions.
Other than that, the hotel was a great place to eat breakfast and sleep. The main thing a hotel is supposed to be. So...
I will most likely stay there again when I visit Banbury. But I will bring my own washcloths. 😁
The location on the map is wrong. This is the location of the M40 Premier Inn. The Town centre one in in the town next to the canal on Castle Quay.
