Unfortunately the rooms are very dated in this Premier Inn. Not the normal standard of Premier Inn, but they are clean. During our first night the air-conditioning wasn't working so we asked to move rooms for our 2nd night. The staff were hugely helpful, even moved our stuff for us which they didn't need too, very greatful for there help. Although the building needs some love & upgrades, the staff were absolutely great!!

Great staff, clean rooms, things are getting a little worn but still functional. It's next to a busy main road but we didn't hear any noise in our room. Good location for attractions in York.

Location was perfect and value for money. Staff were also friendly. Unfortunately the rooms were dated. Our room had a horrible damp smell throughout the whole 3 days we were there, didn't help the extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom too. I noticed there was a plug-in freshener in the room to 'hide' the smell of damp, it did nothing to help unfortunately, the smell hits you as soon as the doors open. As a family we love staying at a Premier Inn, but the standards definitely slipped with this one, don't think we would return in the future.
